GIFYA was my spin on a social media platform, focusing on GIFs and memes. It was designed to be a fun and engaging platform for users to share their favorite GIFs and memes with friends and followers.

The app was built in Expo using React Native. For the backend and database I chose Firebase as it provided a simple and scalable solution for user authentication, data storage, and real-time updates for the chats.

Despite its fun concept, I decided to discontinue GIFYA because it was limited by its own feature and wasn't practical for real-life communication. The app made it to TestFlight and was trialed with my friends.
